Long Rosewood Credenza Attributed to Eugenio Escudero
For your consideration a custom made credenza, Mexico City, circa 1950s.
Attributed to Eugenio Escudero. Credenza is unmarked, no label or signature from the maker.
Solid mahogany wood frame with rosewood veneer (book-matched) and oversized bronze pull handles with goatskin or parchment applications.
Dove tail construction with amazing detail.
Credenza measures 142" at the widest point x 29" H x 20 1/2".
Features five doors with open storage. The compartment in the far right facing the cabinet, has four pull out drawers with sculptural built in handles.
All drawers open and close with ease. Please notice the beautiful dovetail construction.
5th additional leg right in the center to help compensate and balance the weight of the cabinet.
