• Scandinavia Modern Brazilian Rosewood Chest of Drawers Made in Sweden

    For your consideration, a  tall chest of drawers dresser - cabinet. Made in Sweden circa the 1970s. From the period of Scandinavia Modern - danish mid century modern. 

    Constructed with brazilian rosewood. A total of eight (8) drawers. All the drawers are constructed with double dovetail joints in solid blond wood (unsure if birch or beech).  The drawers have solid sculptural wood handles-pulls also made in Brazilian rosewood (also called palo de rosa, jacaranda rosewood  or palisander).

    The cabinet is mounted in a wood plinth base painted in satin black.

    It retains a stamp on the back " MADE IN SWEDEN".


    Firm and sturdy. All drawers open a close with ease.  

    The bottom two drawers have a small repair on the wood veneer. Hard to notice, but something that needs to be mentioned. Top surface has a watermark ring. Overall good condition. Pre owned item. Expect signs of vintage wear. Refer to images.
