Description
For your consideration, a sleek desk accessory designed by Florence Knoll. Two-Tier Ebonized Walnut Paper Tray, originally designed in 1948. A staple of mid-century modern office design, it was produced by Knoll Associates (later Knoll International).
The tray is recognized for its architectural, minimalist aesthetic.
It is crafted from molded plywood, typically walnut or birch, with a dark “ebonized” finish that allows the wood grain to remain subtly visible.
The two tiers are connected by a rear central post made of brushed aluminum (though some rare variations use a lucite rod). This post allows the trays to pivot or rotate, making it easier to access documents.
Dimensions: 6.5″ H x 11.5″ W x 15″ D
