For your consideration, iconic Bertoia Side Chair (Model 420), designed by the renowned Italian-American artist and designer Harry Bertoia in 1952 for Knoll.
Bertoia, primarily a sculptor, famously described his wire chairs as being “mainly made of air, like sculpture”.
The chair features an industrial yet delicate aesthetic constructed from industrial bent and welded steel rods formed into a fluid lattice grid.
This specific vintage version features a black Rilsan with original vinyl cushion. Visible use and wear.
