Description

For your consideration, an antique 19th-century Spanish side table (often classified as a center table or desk) crafted in the traditional Spanish Baroque style.

It features four heavily carved spiral-turned wood legs, commonly referred to as Solomonic or barley twist legs.

Wrought Iron Stretcher. The trestle base is stabilized by a beautifully curved, hand-forged wrought iron stretcher that connects the legs, an iconic feature of historic Iberian carpentry.

Carved Scalloped Edge.The rectangular top boasts a perimeter embellished with traditional carved scalloped or foliate borders along its thickness.

Constructed using dense, high-quality walnut wood or and carry a rich, dark aged patina. Recenlty waxed. Retains inscription from previous owner underneath.

Original vintage unrestored condition. Expect signs of vintage wear.
Overall, good condition. Solid wood top has some age stress fractures. Yet, remains firm and sturdy. Iron has patina.
