Constructed with an exquisite selection of fine materials, such as rosewood, mahogany, parchment, and bronze accents. There are two sliding glass doors with a vintage mirror on the back panel. Original glass shelf in the middle with beveled edges. The neoclassical bronze ornamentation on the sides projects a bold column design. Emigrating from France the Block brothers opened their atelier in Mexico City, serving the needs of the wealthy clientele in the Mexican metropolis. The design has all the classic elements and inspiration of “l’Union des artistes modernes (UAM), Muebles Artistic Modernes (MAM) and follows the inspiration of the masters from “Paris Beaux-Arts” like Raphael, Dominique, Maxime Old, Michel Dufet, EmileJacques Ruhlman, Jean Michel Frank among others.
