For your consideration, vintage Italian 1960s striped ceramic pendant chandeliers.These distinct mid-century lighting fixtures are crafted from art pottery featuring a textured, ribbed design with alternate stripes of a vibrant turquoise or teal glaze and metallic gold/bronze tones. Rimini blue and gold tones. Attributed to Bitossi. Unsigned-unmarked.

They are highly recognizable due to their elongated teardrop or horn shape and the decorative pinhole/slit openings built into the ceramic body, which allow subtle, decorative light to peek through when illuminated.

The style shares a lot of aesthetic characteristics with Italian ceramic houses from the mid-20th century, as well as stylized Moroccan or Brutalist-era hanging swag lamps popular during the 1960s and 1970s.
