Description

For your consideration, a mid-century modern casserole dish and stand from the Anker-Line range. It was designed in 1954 by the renowned Danish sculptor and industrial designer Jens Quistgaard.
The set includes Casserole Dish. A black, enamel-coated cast iron pot with a matching lid.
A tripod-style server made with teak legs and a frame wrapped in rattan/cane. This “oven-to-table” design was produced in the 1950s for the Danish foundry De Forenede Jernstøberier. Quistgaard, who later became the chief designer for Dansk International Designs, is highly celebrated for blending traditional Danish craftsmanship with industrial materials like cast iron.
