For your consideration, an exceptional mid-century modern ceramic table lamp dating from the 1960s. It features an overscaled, sculptural ceramic base resting on a classic walnut wood pedestal.
Glaze Technique. Features a striking fat lava or drip-glaze style with a color gradient shifting from deep black at the neck to a vibrant mustard/olive yellow, leading down into a rich emerald and forest green body.
Geometric Texturing. The main body is heavily detailed with a deeply embossed, repetitive checkerboard or honeycomb grid pattern, capturing light and adding significant architectural depth.
Period Accents.Complemented by a turned walnut wood collar beneath the metal bulb socket and a substantial solid wood base block.
No shade or harp included. For props only.
