Description
For your consideration, a vintage Mid-Century Modern round serving butler’s tray produced by Eales of Sheffield.
The tray features a distinctive reticulated/pierced silver-plated gallery edge surrounding a smooth, durable faux-rosewood Formica laminate insert. The wood-grain central insert provides protection against condensation and spills, making it highly functional for barware or cocktail serving.
Despite the “Since 1779″ marketing mark, these specific Formica-lined cocktail trays were actually manufactured in the mid-to-late 20th century (predominantly during the 1960s to 1980s).
Dimensions: 1.5″ H x 12.25” diameter.
