For your consideration: Fabulous Long Staircase Handrail produced in Mexico City 1950s by Manuel Chacon of Talleres Chacon for designer Arturo Pani.
This is our long handrail listing. We also have a shorter handrail- same style listed.
Executed in hand forged gilded iron with brass accents.
Dimensions: H 30 in. x W 131 in. x D 2.75 in.
Talleres Chacon produced custom orders of forged iron and brass. Working with the best designers of the period Arturo Pani and Robert & Mito Block.
The craftsmanship is equivalent to the famous blacksmiths in France.
You can appreciate in this design the clean modern lines of midcentury with simple graphics and less ornamentation.
Original vintage condition, expect vintage wear. Refer to pictures.
Original patina on brass. Paint has some scuffs.
