For your consideration, an original abstract etching titled and signed in pencil, Attributed to the renowned Filipino printmaker Manuel Rodriguez Sr.
The composition uses sweeping, stylized linear work embedded in a dense multi-toned green and amber backdrop, conveying the dynamic motion of ritualistic dancers.
On the bottom-left corner of the mounting board, you can see the handwritten penciled note “artist’s proof”, indicating this particular impression was part of the exclusive personal testing suite produced before the formal numbered edition run.
The artist’s distinctive cursive script signature is visible directly along the bottom right margin of the artwork.
