For your consideration, a late Victorian gentleman’s traveling copper drinking cup and spirit stove set dating back to circa 1900.
System Function and Assembly.
The item in the selected region acts as the heating stove and vessel system. It is designed to assemble dynamically with the other pieces spread across the table. The Stand & Burner Basin. The main brown chalice-like vessel sits on the flared round rim base.
The hinged bone handle extending to the right is used to safely lift the hot vessel.
The central conical item with a screw-top nozzle acts as the fuel reservoir.
Constructed with copper with silver plate in the inside, one handle.
