Description
For your consideration, a vintage 1970s Polish tapestry designed by Elżbieta Kaszycka (also known as E. Keszycka).
Crafted in Poland during the Mid-Century Modern period, this textile is a handwoven kilim made from rich, textural wool. It typically features an abstract, folkloric composition with a distinctive color palette of ochre, orange, and deep brown. These pieces were often produced by Cepelia, a Polish state-owned cooperative that promoted traditional folk arts and crafts.
