Vintage Gaggia Stainless Steel Stovetop Espresso Maker Inox Moka Pot

$225.00

Description

For your consideration, a rare, vintage Gaggia stainless steel stovetop espresso maker (often referred to as an “Inox” moka pot) originally manufactured in Italy during the 1970s or 1980s.
While the famous Gaggia brand is best known today for its electric espresso machines, they also designed high-quality, heavy-duty stovetop pieces like this one. This model was actually produced for Gaggia through a collaboration with the premium Italian metalware manufacturer Tracanzan (often branded under the “Alfa” line).
Unlike standard aluminum moka pots, this body is made of thick Inox 18/10 stainless steel, giving it a mirror-like finish that resists corrosion.
Signature Handle & Lid Mechanism. It features a unique black heat-resistant handle and a specialized thumb lever attached directly to the metal lid hinge. Pressing down on the metal lever flips the lid open for easy pouring or checking the brew.
Two-Piece Geyser System. The bottom chamber holds the water, while the top chamber catches the brewed coffee as steam pressure forces it up through the internal funnel.
Stamped underneath GAGGIA, Made in Spain. It appears to be a large 12 cup moka.

Dimensions: 8.88″ H x 4.5″ diameter x 6″ D
