For your consideration, a vintage wooden mannequin arms set. It features multiple articulated joints, a carved hand with poseable fingers, and an exposed metal spring mechanism at the shoulder joint connection.
Aged, stained wood with a clear grain pattern.
Functional hinge joints at the wrist and elbow. A spherical wooden ball attached to a thick metal tension spring. Fully segmented, independent wooden fingers mimicking human anatomy. Originally belonged to a full-body vintage display mannequin or artist’s lay figure. The shoulder spring allowed the arm to be easily attached, detached, or rotated on a torso.
