Description

For your consideration a pair of side tables constructed with solid mahogany wood and goatskin top. The construction has a postmodern design with a flair of the neoclassical inspiration with clean modern lines.

Hand painted with roman or greek motif. The tables are not signed or has a label from the maker-designed. The work is consistent with the pieces produced by Maria Teresa Mendez (MTM) in the 1960s. MTM had the opportunity to work with Karl Springer and her work was often showcased in Neiman Marcus in New York.
Made in Mexico the early 1960s.

The condition is good, wood has been restored. Frame is firm and sturdy. The goatskin has the original vintage unrestored finish. One small rip in one section. Refer to images.
